Delivery & Refunds

By shopping at The Good Food Collective you're supporting NZ's talented producers and their families, and we thank you for being part of the Collective Community.

Here’s some information about how you will receive your order and what to do if something goes wrong.


When you purchase products from The Good Food Collective, we consolidate your order into one transaction (if you purchase more than one item). We then notify the relevant producer and let them know what you've ordered along with your delivery details.

Each producer will then carefully pack your order and dispatch it as soon as possible - confirming tracking information so you can keep tabs on shipping progress.

If you purchase products from different producers, you will receive them in different packages and may receive them on different days.

Damaged product

When you receive your product, please check it to make sure that it’s in good condition and hasn’t been damaged in transit. If a product is received in a damaged condition, please take a photo and email us at

If you notice damage when the courier is delivering your package, please sign for the product as damaged.

Incorrect product

Whilst our producers take the utmost care in preparing and then packing their products for you, sometimes a producer can accidentally dispatch the wrong product. If this occurs, please let us know by emailing

The producer may ask you to return the incorrect product at their cost. The producer will either dispatch the correct product to you as soon as possible or refund the purchase price.

Faulty product

The different producers on The Good Food Collective take great care in creating their wonderful products. If you receive something that appears to be faulty, please contact us so that we can talk to the producer. as we all want you to enjoy the great food and beverages that you have purchased.

Missing items

All products are dispatched via tracked courier and you can track your order directly with the shipping provider using the consignment note provided. Your order may come from different producers across the country so some items may take longer than others. If your product hasn’t arrived within 9 days of ordering, please email


If a producer asks you to return a product for any of the above reasons, we will send you a return shipping label as well as instructions about how to return the product. If possible, please return your product in its original packaging with the original packing slip.

If an order is refunded, your payment will be returned via the original payment method you used. It may take a few days for any refunds to be processed by the bank.
