IngredientsHoney
This is Monofloral Manuka Honey from New Zealand’s remote and rugged Far North backcountry. This honey has been laboratory tested at 300+ MGO, and has the distinct Manuka flavor, texture and health properties. The world renowned Manuka honey comes from the Leptospermum scoparium plant. This small tree is seen regularly in rural parts of upper New Zealand and its characteristic white flowers can be seen in bloom even in winter – but these do not produce nectar until the weather warms up in the first hot days of spring. Early season honey harvests can be harder to make, but these contain more Manuka in the harvest and gives a higher grade batch like what is in these pots! Produced by another beekeeper and packed in his RMP approved premises, and brought to you by Don Buck Honey!
About Don Buck Honey
Don Buck Honey is a small one-man beekeeping operation based in Massey, West Auckland. I started small-commercial beekeeping in 2014, and in 2019 started selling my honey in pots under the name ‘Don Buck Honey’, after the name of the main road through my neighbourhood. I have hives in rural and forest parts of Northwest Auckland, as well as in the Whangaroa region of the Far North. Some of the honey batches are produced by my own hives, while others are from my father-in-law's hives in the Far North and in the Bay of Islands.
