Founded by Alice Rule, a young winemaker with a passion for sustainability, we are a New Zealand owned and operated wine boutique specialising in premium Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. Our philosophy is simple – to make great wine, while keeping New Zealand beautiful. Our wines are carefully crafted using grapes grown under the Marlborough sun, honouring the best of what the region has to offer: natural ferments, low sulphur regimes, minimal wine movements and neutral cellar environments. Producing less than 7000 bottles a year, we are small and deeply proud of it. Our strength lies in our passions. We are one of the New Zealand wine industry’s earliest eco-warriors, vowing to offset our carbon emissions, create and maintain a circular economy and stand strong in the fight against climate change. By using this site you agree that you are 18 years or over. It is illegal to make false declaration of age in order to purchase liquor. No deliveries are made to P.O Box addresses. We cannot accept responsibility for delivery to unattended addresses.
SIGNATURE UPON DELIVERY: Only persons over the age of 18 are able to sign and receive orders from us. This is in accordance with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012. If you’re lucky enough to look under the age of 25 the courier will ask to see valid ID. If the receiver is under the age of 18 or does not have valid ID the parcel will be returned to the depot for further instruction.
INSURANCE: All goods are insured up until the point of delivery. All deliveries in New Zealand are by courier and direct to your door.
Refund, exchange, cancellation policy
If a wine you have purchased is in some way faulty, we will replace it upon your request. Any breakages or shortages should be reported within 24 hours of wine being delivered and a replacement will be dispatched straight away. We do not accept returns on change of mind purchases so please choose carefully. Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Late or missing refunds: If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us.
Sale items: Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges: We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email.
Gifts: If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you. If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $25, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
